Helmet and flag from the Orange Revolution. Artifacts that witnessed the first great victory of Ukrainian democracy – the Orange Revolution of 2004. These items convey the spirit of resistance, disagreement with injustice, and faith in one’s own strength. They remind us how Ukrainians first massively came to the Maidan, defending their choice and the right to a dignified future.

The helmet and the flag were gifted to Ostannya Barykada by photojournalist Oleksandr Zakletskyi.
